The Southern California PGA is proud to partner with these select Physical Therapists, specializing in golf specific training. You will see this team of PTs at the “Golf Performance Zone” at the upcoming Section Championship as well as other select SCPGA events, providing an area for stretching, preparation and recovery. This team of PTs will provide education on the importance of proper training, rehab and recovery for SCPGA Members as well as their students.

Visit KM Golf Performance – Ken Mengel (Serving OC and South LA)

Ken Mengel is a 1994 physical therapy graduate from USC, KM Golf Performance Founder and a proud SCPGA partner since 2015. Knowing and Teaching “the Why” continues to drive Ken after 28 years as a physical therapist and certified strength & conditioning specialist. Ken has been a clinical director and is a rehab therapist and sports performance specialist to some of the top athletes across the Nation. He spent 4 years working with the Chinese Olympic Committee, developing curriculum for the now USC PT Shanghai campus. Ken’s love of golf and the sport’s gaining popularity also brought his desire to get in front of the injury and build healthy athletes. A few of Ken’s teaching mantras are “Assess… DON’T guess” and “know your why”

Visit Fit4Golf– Scott Edwards (Serving North LA and Ventura)

Fit4Golf was established by Scott Edwards, a lifelong golfer and athlete who has been practicing physical therapy and performance training for over 30 years. Scott attended the University of California at Davis and San Diego State University and obtained bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Exercise Science, respectively. After that, Scott attended the University of Southern California, where he obtained his master’s degree in physical therapy in 1994, began his career practicing orthopedic and sports physical therapy. In 2011, Scott returned to USC for a residency in Sports Physical Therapy, where he worked with, and learned from, a broad spectrum of athletes. The residency honed Scott’s movement analysis and ignited his interest in the intricacies of the golf swing.

Visit Tee It Up Physical Therapy – Dr. Nima Enayati (Serving San Diego)

Dr. Nima is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), a highly trained healthcare professional who has earned a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Dr. Nima has more than six years of experience diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions affecting a patient’s mobility and physical function. He uses a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and other evidence-based interventions to help patients reduce pain, restore movement, and improve overall quality of life.
