The first Women’s Stroke Play Series of the season visited the beautiful Toscana Country Club in the Coachella Valley where a field of 18 ladies took on the ever-changing conditions of sunshine, spitting rain and wind.
Alison Curdt, PGA of Wood Ranch GC is crowned the medalist in the Championship Division posting a round of 74. Curdt carded three birdies with five bogeys to finish two strokes clear of the field.
Lynda Jensen, PGA of Toscana CC defended her home turf and carded a one-under-par, 71 to win the Teal Division. Jensen had steady play throughout the day, carding one under on the front nine to go with an even-par back nine.
The best ball winning team members were Kim Coleman, Bari Brandwynne, Lehua Wise and Lynda Jensen with a team score of 7-under par, 137.
Congratulations to Erika Ilagan on winning the Closest to the Hole contest on #3 by hitting it 4’9’’ and winning the Lululemon gift bag.
