Eligible PGA Members Will Vote For Two Positions

Below are the three candidates running for two At-Large positions on the SCPGA Board of Directors. Early online voting will be available to SCPGA Members. In addition to the early voting option, a live vote will be available during the Annual Meeting.

Randy Chang, PGA – Randy Chang Golf Schools

Nominator: Jamie Mulligan, PGA

I’m a 28 Year PGA member, Owner/operator of the Randy Chang Golf Schools at six facilities in Southern California. Seven years service as Board Member, Teaching Committee Chairman since 2016. Two time SCPGA Teacher of the Year, SCPGA Teaching Hall of Fame member.

Mark Gallant, PGA | Alta Vista Country Club

Nominator: Ted Debus, PGA

Hi I’m Mark Gallant, and I worked at Imperial Golf Course from 1980 to 1991, before I began working at Alta Vista CC in 2021. I reinstated my PGA membership in 2020 and I am looking to get involved in the SCPGA Section. I am very proud to be a member of the PGA of America and look forward to an opportunity to serve the section in any way necessary.

Blake Jirges, PGA – Coto de Caza Golf Club

Nominator: Josh Alpert, PGA

My name is Blake Jirges and I am a Certified and ADM PGA Professional. I currently serve as the Director of Player Development at Coto de Caza Golf and Racquet Club. My roles and responsibilities consist of creating and executing junior golf programs, PGA Junior League, adult social events, game improvement programs and oversee a coaching staff that supports the execution of programs. Prior to coming to Coto de Caza, I served as the Director of Junior Golf at the Henry Brunton Golf Academy where myself and two others launched the Academy in 2015. It served juniors from all ages and skill levels in monthly golf programs.
