SCPGA FOUNDATION NAMED PRIMARY BENEFACTOR OF “THE GIVE” CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT HOSTED BY THE JOHN MALLINGER CHARITABLE FOUNDATION

ONTARIO, California –  The 2nd Annual THE GIVE Pro-Am is coming to Long Beach, hosted by the Virginia Country Club and the John Mallinger Charitable Foundation.  PGA TOUR players scheduled to participate include Matt Every, Graham DeLaet, Charley Hoffman, Max Homa, Luke List, Pat Perez, JJ Spaun, Chez Reavie, Harris English, Carlos Ortiz, Brendan Steele, Ricky Barnes, Joel Dahmen, Bill Haas, Kevin Tway, Bud Cauley and Brendan Todd.  Teams will consist of three (3) amateurs and one (1) PGA TOUR player.

“One of the goals of our partnership is to expand and enhance The Give’s reach throughout Southern California.  We want to make this event far-reaching and influential in name and impact, both regionally and nationally going forward,” said “The Give” Board Member & Tournament Chairman John Mallinger, PGA.

With support from title sponsor, F&M Bank, (Farmers and Merchants Bank), and supporting sponsor, TravisMathew, the proceeds will go towards 10 college scholarships, as well as golf equipment for the SCPGA Foundation’s ClubsForeYouth® program.

The 2nd Annual event will be hosted at Virginia Country Club in Long Beach, California, on Monday, February 10th, 2020 (Monday of the PGA TOUR Genesis Invitational).

The Southern California PGA Foundation and the John Mallinger Charitable Foundation are looking to create an amazing bond between students and players throughout Southern California.
