Stroke Play Classic #1

Nate Williams, PGA of The Plantation Golf Club fires an impressive 7-under par, 65 to win the Stroke Play Classic #1.

Avondale Golf Club served as host for the first Stroke Play Classic where a field of 79 players visited the coachella valley.

Williams was dialed in all day with eight birdies on the card and despite a bogey on the par 5 hole #1, he was two strokes clear of the field. Bryan Bergna of Bel-Air Country Club fired a 67 to finish in solo second place.

With 61 players in the skins, all holes were covered up and no skins were won.

There an an additional aggerage payout with the Stroke Play Classic #2 hosted at The Saticoy Club on May 17. The top three finishers will be awarded the bonus purse.
