Southern California PGA Announces Eric Lohman, PGA, As President
ONTARIO, CALIF. (Dec 12th, 2022) –Eric Lohman, PGA, General Manager of Monarch Beach Golf Links, took the seat of President for the Southern California PGA during the Section’s Annual Meeting this morning at Newport Beach Country Club.
Lohman will serve for two years as president and chairman of the board and join his fellow officers, Vice President Dr. Alison Curdt, PGA, of Wood Ranch Golf Club, and Secretary John Kulow, PGA, of South Hills Country Club. Immediate Past President Robin Shelton, PGA, CCM, of Newport Beach Country Club, will continue to serve on the board as Honorary President.
Newly elected Southern California PGA board members Petra Cole, PGA, of Coronado Golf Course, and Nikki Prichard, PGA, of Arrowood Golf Course, will join Randy Chang, PGA, Kim Falcone, PGA, Tom Son, PGA, Blake Jirges, PGA, and chapter representatives Richard Valenzuela, PGA, (Desert), Steve Adamiak, PGA, (Inland Empire), Rick Stegall, PGA, (Metro), Jeff Munak, PGA, (San Diego), and Justin Height, PGA, (Northern). The two Independent Director positions will be held by Scott Heyn, PGA, of The Farms Golf Club, and Ed Holmes, Past President of the SCGA.
“I am excited to step up and serve our members and associates as the next President of the SCPGA,” said President Eric Lohman, PGA. “I have been fortunate to be Secretary under Tony Letendre’s Presidency and, most recently, Vice President with Robin Shelton leading our Section. Personally, I would like to thank both of these gentlemen for their leadership, guidance, and stewardship. We all owe them a debt of gratitude, especially me. It is now my turn to lead the best Section of the PGA of America, with an amazing Section staff led by outgoing CEO / Executive Director Tom Addis III and incoming Nikki Gatch. I also look forward to serving with Vice President Dr. Alison Curdt and incoming Secretary John Kulow. The next few years will be progressive, embracing our ever-changing golf environment as we help promote the game we love and support our SCPGA family.”
