The Journey At Pechanga | June 10th, 2019
TEMECULA, California – The SCPGA Professional-Junior Championship visited The Journey at Pechanga in Temecula for a full-field of 54 teams in an enjoyable mixture of a Professional accompanied by a Junior under the age of 18 in the four-ball format.
The Girls Division Champions were Angel Martinez, PGA and Min Hae Gwon of Indian Palms Country Club carding a seven-under, 65 to win the division by five strokes. Three teams finished tied for second with a round of 2-under par 70, Jennifer Bermingham/Kate Younger of Coto de Caza GC, Andrew Kramer/Bianca Sun of Los Serranos GC and Roman Gonzales/Vanessa Ngo of the Tiger Woods Learning Center.
The Boys Division was won by Scott McCue, PGA and Matthew Broader of The Farms Golf Club after posting a 10-under par, two-strokes clear of the division. Three teams were also knotted up for second place in the Boys Division with a round of 8-under par, 64. Kenny Pigman/Ryan Fisher of Goose Creek GC, Brian Smock/Ty Smock of Coronado GC and Wendy Wisbon/Henry Fitzhugh of Annandale GC.
