Inaugural Play Yellow Birdie Bash Raises Over $61,000 for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and SCPGA Foundation Programs

South Hills Country Club, West Covina, Calif. — The Southern California PGA Foundation is proud to announce the tremendous success of the inaugural Play Yellow Birdie Bash, held at South Hills Country Club. Thanks to the incredible support from players, donors, partners, and guests, the event raised an impressive $61,076 in total proceeds.
Funds from the Birdie Bash will directly benefit Children’s Hospital Los Angeles through the national Play Yellow campaign, and help fuel the SCPGA Foundation’s mission, including impactful programs such as PGA HOPE, Junior Golf, Scholarships, and Community Outreach.
“We are so grateful to everyone who made this day more than just a round of golf,” said SCPGA Foundation Director Anthony Leone. “Your generosity turned a fun and memorable day into a meaningful movement supporting youth, military veterans, and families across Southern California.”
