VALENCIA, California – The popular Professional-Scratch Championship returned to Valencia Country Club where a full field of 60 teams battled the frigid, windy day.
Steve Saunders and Eric Liscio of Temecula Creek Inn put together an impressive round of eight-under par 64 to win the Championship. The duo got off to a hot start, birding five of their first six holes and kept the rallying going to finish two strokes clear of the field.
Congratulations to Steve Saunders for his the Closest to the Hole on #16 and winning the Golf Buddy DMD.
Also congratulations to JD Stern for his the Closest to the Hole on #3 and trip to Ireland from Garmany Golf.
