The Southern California PGA put a close to the decade at the Annual Meeting and Pinehurst Championship presented by Club Car. The year end event visited the ravishing Sherwood Country Club located in the hills of Thousand Oaks where nearly 200 PGA members and associates gathered.
Michael Block, PGA and Kyle Mendoza, PGA teamed up and brought home the hardware in the Pinehurst Championship which followed the meeting. The winning duo, representing Arroyo Trabuco GC & South Hills CC, carded a six-under par 66 to win by two shots over the 61 team field.
Block picks up right where he left off, winning this first event of the 2020 Section Player of the Year point race. Michael was awarded the 2019 POY honors, earning this title now for the sixth time in the past seven season.
