This week for Hall of Fame Month the Southern California will be honoring Hall of Fame inductees from the 2000s decade. Please enjoy this article highlighting historical figures, such as trailblazer Bill Wright, an African American Hall of Famer to Masters Champion Craig Stadler.

  • Ron Robinson, SCPGA Honorary Life Member, SCPGA Golf Professional of the Year, SCPGA Professional Development Award, SCPGA Youth Player Development Award, SCPGA Heritage Award and past SCPGA Board of Director. Professional at Jurupa Hills for many years. Father Joe Robinson is in the SCPGA Hall of Fame as well.

 

  • Andy Thuney, SCPGA Golf Professional of the Year, Past SCPGA President, SCPGA Honorary Life Member. Head Professional at Western Hills, Candlewood CC and Hacienda CC.

 

  • Tom Barber, SCPGA Heritage Award, SCPGA Honorary Life Member, SCPGA Bill Strausbaugh Award, SCPGA Sr Champion, SCPGA & SCGA Honors Match Honoree, past SCPGA Board Member, founder of the SCPGA Players Championship, Co-founder of original SCPGA Merchandise Show and Professional at Griffith Park Golf Courses, early on with his father SCPGA Hall member and PGA Champion, Jerry Barber.
