Enagic San Diego County Open

October 12-14, 2021 | Enagic Golf Club at Eastlake

CHULA VISTA, California – David Kim of Buena Park came out victorious at the San Diego County Open after three-days of stellar golf. Kim fired rounds of 68, 64, and 66 for a three-day total 15-under par, 198 to remain at the top of the leaderboard at the conclusion of play.

Kim’s consistent final round consisted of five-birdies and helped him stay ahead of Josh Anderson of Murrieta and Corey Shaun of Encinitas who were making a strong push. Anderson and Shaun were unable to avoid a few mistakes which ultimately ended their Championship bid.

Kim, a University of Irvine graduate, also took home the $10,000 champion’s check and a Kangen Water Ionic Filtration System by Enagic.

Kento Yamawaki of Encinitas put together three solid rounds to take home Low Amateur honors for the second straight year with a three-day total three-under par 210.

The revival of the San Diego County Open after 19-years was made possible by Enagic Golf Club at Eastlake and their dedicated staff including host PGA Professional Neil Finch, PGA. A special thank your to Enagic and Mr. Ohsiro for their generous support and contributions to make the professional purse $58,000.

The San Diego Open presented by Enagic will return to Enagic Golf Club at Eastlake in October of 2022.
