Ochoa/Yoo Claim 2026 Summer Meeting & Pro-Pro Scramble In Scorecard Playoff

TEMECULA, CA (June 15, 2026) — The 2026 SCPGA Summer Meeting and Pro-Pro Scramble visited Temecula Creek Golf Club with over 220 attendees on a perfect summer day.
Greg Ochoa, PGA, of Hesperia Golf & Country Club, and Eric Yoo, PGA, of Goose Creek Golf Club, were crowned champions of the 2026 SCPGA Pro-Pro Scramble Championship. Ochoa/Yoo fired an impressive 12-under-par 60, including a 29 (-7) on the back nine, to win the scorecard playoff and take home the trophies. They edged out fellow IE Chapter members Lance Peterson, PGA, of Western Hills Country Club, and Ryan Kolk, PGA, of Murrieta Valley Golf Range, in the scorecard playoff at 12-under-par. The top two teams also receive a pair of sunglasses courtesy of Jondo Sports.
There was only one skin awarded in this year’s Pro-Pro Scramble to Justin Stelzer, PGA, and Matt Smela, PGA, both from Rancho La Quinta Country Club, with an eagle on hole #7.
