David Kim Wins 2026 Enagic San Deigo County Open
Oct 13-15 | by Enagic Golf Club at EastlakeCHULA VISTA, CA (October 13-15, 2026) — David Kim of Anaheim is the 2026 Enagic San Diego County Open Champion with a 16-under-par finish and rounds of 68-65-64=197 to claim his second victory in this open.
Steady play all week kept Kim in contention and landed him in the lead pairing of the final round, where he delivered a championship performance. Kim’s final round was anchored by a flawless, bogey-free 64 highlighted by seven birdies. He grabbed early momentum with a chip-in birdie on the 7th hole, then sealed the win down the stretch with a brilliant 70-yard bunker shot to within four feet for another birdie, putting him at 7-under for the day and separating him from the field.
“It was a great day; shooting 7-under any day is always a good day,” said Kim. “I may have won by three shots, but it was a lot closer than the leaderboard shows, with a couple of really good holes down the stretch. I scrambled really well and a big thank you to Enagic for hosting this event.”
Kim, now a two-time champion of this event, took home the $10,000 first-place prize along with a Kangen Water Iconic Filtration System by Title Partner Enagic Company.
Highlighting the second round of the Championship was Isaac Rodea of San Diego firing a new Enagic Golf Club course record 61, including eight birdies and an eagle. Rodea, the 2026 California State Open Champion, now owns the record previously held by PGA Tour members Rico Hoey and Sahith Theegala.
The revival of the San Diego County Open in 2020 after a 20-year hiatus was made possible by Enagic Golf Club at Eastlake and its dedicated staff, led by host PGA Professionals Neil Finch and Nick Molloy. A special thank you to Enagic Company and Mr. Ohshiro for their generous support, hospitality, and annual contributions to the professional purse.
