2024 Southern California PGA Super Senior PGA Championship

DANA POINT, CA (October 2, 2024) — Congratulations to Jon Fiedler, PGA, of Las Posas Country Club, on winning the 2024 Southern California PGA Super Senior PGA Championship with a 2-over-par 142 at Monarch Beach Golf Links.

After posting an opening round 3-under-par 67, Fiedler entered the final day with a six-shot lead. Conditions proved to be tougher for day two, as no player produced a round under par. Fiedler held off defending champion Gary Sowinski, PGA, who recorded a round-low 2-over-par 72 to win the championship by three shots. This marks the first SCPGA Super Senior Section Championship for Fiedler.
