Congratulations to Team Los Coyotes Country Club on Winning the Callaway Pro-Am

LA HABRA HEIGHTS, CA (October 28, 2024) — Congratulations to John Chung, PGA, David Ujihara, Kennith Kim, and Michael Im of team Los Coyotes Country Club for winning the second annual Callaway Pro-Am at Hacienda Golf Club with a final score of 21-under-par 121 in a card off.
The four-person team of Los Coyotes Country Club found themselves tied for the lead with Rollings Hills Country Club at 21-under-par, but an incredible back-nine score of 14-under-par gave Los Coyotes Country Club the victory in the card off.
The format for today’s event was Four-Ball, with one gross and one net, as the Professional ball could be used for the team score.
Low PGA Professional honors went to Matthew Moomjian, PGA Associate, of The Farms Golf Club, with a 3-under-par 68 total. Congratulations to our closest-to-the-hole winners –the two amateurs, Mark Ganahl and Mark Motejunas, and our two professionals, Kyle Mendoza and John Francis. Francis and Ganahl both go home with a Vortex Rangefinder, Mendoza won the Callaway wedge, and Motejunas won a TravisMathew travel bag courtesy of our partners for the closest-to-the-hole prizes.
