Mark Baldwin Wins SoCal Open By Seven Strokes

Congratulations to Tegan Andrews on winning the Low Amateur Honors

INDIAN WELLS, CA (April 27, 2023) – Mark Baldwin of Mesa, Arizona, won the 58th edition of the SoCal Open, finishing the 54-hole Championship at 23-under-par at Indian Wells Golf Resort.

Baldwin posted a 64-63 (-16) after the first two days to take a two-shot lead going into the final round of the SoCal Open. Baldwin took the 288-player field by storm, winning the tournament by seven strokes and taking home the $15,000 check with his victory.

Tegan Andrews of Agoura Hills, California, finished his three days with a 69-71-69=209 for a 6-under-par to take home the Low Amateur honors. Andrews recorded all three rounds with sub-par rounds.

The SoCal Open has a storied history of past champions such as Billy Casper (68′), Gene Littler (64′), Al Geiberger (62′), Ken Venturi (61′), Olin Dutra (32′), and now Mark Baldwin has etched his name into the Championship’s legacy.
