PALOS VERDES, CA (November 20, 2023) — Robert Pang, PGA, and Taylor Wood out of Big Canyon Country Club won the card-off to claim the 2023 Professional-Club Member Championship at Palos Verdes Golf Club with an 11-under-par 60 in the Four-Ball format.
The Professional-Club Member Championship features an SCPGA member and their amateur partner from the same facility.
The Pang/Wood duo finished tied with James Schacht, PGA, and Ryan Knapp of Mesa Verde Country Club at the top spot with 11-under-par on the day but claimed the victory after a card-off. Pang/Wood recorded a clean scorecard on the day with no bogeys, nine birdies, one eagle, and eight pars.
Congratulations to Daniel Vojta, PGA, and Neil Williams out of Rick Smith Golf Academy for winning the trip to New Zealand courtesy of Garmany Golf and Air New Zealand. Congratulations to team Pang/Wood and team Resnick/Freie for winning the skins on the day.
