Team Mountain View Country Club Wins The 2022 SCPGA Professional-Official-Superintendent Championship

INDIAN WELLS, CALIFORNIA (MAY 23, 2022) The team from Mountain View Country Club is your 2022 Southern California PGA Professional-Official-Superintendent Championship winners with a score of fourteen under-par at The Reserve Golf Club!
With early summer temperatures touching 100 degrees in the desert, an eighty-player field teed it up on one of the most pristine courses in the Coachella Valley at The Reserve Club. This annual tournament showcases top clubs across SoCal and provides an opportunity for PGA Professionals to not only bring out their Superintendents, but other vital course staff members for a competitive, but fun event atmosphere.
The eighteen hole Modified Four-Ball Stroke Play Event ended with a three-way tie at fourteen under-par between the Teams from Mountain View Country Club, Monarch Beach Golf Links, and the Victoria Club. After a USGA Scorecard Playoff, it was team Mountain View with Michael Holyk, PGA, Richie Valenzuela, PGA, Shaun Mahaffey, and Rob Leon taking home the championship honors. Although they couldn’t all walk away with first place honors, all three teams will be taking home a new set of sunglasses courtesy of our partners Maui Jim!
