National Car Rental SoCal Assistant PGA Championship

Blake Schmitt of the Ironwood Country Club goes low to win the 2022 National Car Rental Southern California Assistant PGA Professional Championship after shooting an four under par, 136 in the 36-hole stroke play event.
47 Assistant Professionals congregated at The Crosby Club at Rancho Santa Fe hoping to earn a spot into the 46th PGA Assistant National Championship.
Schmitt fired rounds of 70 and 66 to win by two shots over the field and become the 52nd champion of the Assistant Championship.
Congratulations to Jeremy Lamson of Twin Oaks Golf Course and Richie Valenzuela of Mountain View Country Club for each recording hole-in-one’s on the 6th hole!
The following four players will be joining Schmitt at the 46th PGA Assistant National Championship.
