2020 SCPGA Professional-Official-Superintendent
LA HABRA HEIGHTS, California – The Professional – Official – Superintendent Championship visited Hacienda Golf Club today where 20 facilities from all corners of Southern California were represented. The secluded 1920 William Watson designed course provided a fun challenge for the four-person teams in the modified four-ball stroke play format.
It was San Clemente Golf Course & Monarch Beach Golf Links that were knotted at the top of the leaderboard at the conclusion of the day, both finishing with a strong 10-under par 132.
The team of San Clemente won the scorecard playoff to take home the winning hardware but both teams split the professional purse and scrip earnings.
The winning team representing San Clemente Golf Course were Vinnie Poncino, PGA, Bobby Nickell, PGA, Jordan Gilmore, and Jeff Hooper. The Monarch Beach Golf Links team was comprised of Eric Lohman, PGA, Brandon Delgado, PGA, Matt Sanders, Len Amato.
