KING/JOHNSON CLAIM THE YAMAHA SENIOR-JUNIOR TITLE!

CAMP PENDLETON, California– Claiming top honors and winning the annual the Yamaha Senior-Junior Championship this year was Sean King of Apple Valley Golf Club and Retired Member Mark Johnson posting a bogey-free round of nine-under par, 63.

Hosted at Marine Memorial Golf Course located on Camp Pendleton Marine Base, this event is a two-player four-ball Championship with teams of one Senior over the age of 50 and one Junior under the age of 49.

Champions Sean King, PGA and Mark Johnson, PGA took down the Billy Bell design, clearing the field by three strokes with a blemish free scorecard in windy conditions.

There were three skins won today – an eagle on hole #1 by Paul Wise/Michael D’Angelo ; a birdie on hole #8 by Tom Wischmeyer/Grant Strobel ; and an eagle on #15 by Rick Garboski/Paul Holtby.
