The SCPGA recently conducted the popular Four-Ball Championship at Palos Verdes Golf Club where a field of 54 teams comprised of PGA Members and Apprentices took spotlight.
Ted Parker, PGA of California Country Club and Ron Skayhan, PGA of Hillcrest Country Club were crowned Champions posting a 8-under par 63. Their strong front nine, featuring a string of four straight birdies, and carding a 29 separated the team from the field.
The bunched up leaderboard had four teams tied for second just a stroke shy of the victorious Parker/Skayhan duo. All posting a 64 (-7) and coming in second place were the following: Michael Block, PGA/Kenny Pigman, Scott Heyn, PGA/Ryan Kennedy,PGA, Gary Sowinski, PGA/Mark Fernando, PGA, Barry Mahlberg, PGA/Scott Mahlberg, PGA.
