The Southern California PGA Foundation Neighborhood Golf program set-up shop at the 2014 Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF) Reaching for the Cure Run & Ride this past weekend at the Irvine Valley College in Irvine, California. Thousands of Southland residents walked, ran, and biked their way around Irvine to raise funds to cancer research. The turn out and participation was excellent, as each attendee and participant had the opportunity to play soccer with the LA Galaxy street team, handle snakes, lizards, and turtles in the reptile booth, get a massage from the American Institute of Massage Therapy, and practice their golf game with the Neighborhood Golf inflatable hitting cage. Athletes of all ages were excited to hit BirdieBalls all day long in hope of receiving a SCPGA Junior Tour golf hat and Pinnacle 2-ball packs.
A special thanks to Kris Olsen, LPGA and the RiverView Golf Course for being our Neighborhood Golf Preferred Facility for this past weekend’s event. Each attendee that stopped by our booth has the opportunity to visit Kris and RiverView for a FREE 20-minute golf lesson. Don’t wait, take advantage of the opportunity TODAY!
Neighborhood Golf will be attending the OC Imaginology Youth Expo at the OC Fairgrounds on April 11th through 13th. We hope to see you out there and remember to Play Golf Today!
