COTO DE CAZA, California – Hosted at the beautiful Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club, the 2017 Superintendent-Professional-Manager Championship saw 14 teams competing for the title. Playing the South course, it was the team from La Quinta Country Club who claimed the this year’s top spot. Led by Head Professional Chris Gilley, PGA, the team posted six birdies & five eagles en-route to a 15-under par 129 finish in the modified Four-Ball format. Team La Quinta CC was one stroke clear of the field with a knotted leaderboard, having a three way tie for second place with Navy Golf Course, Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club and Marbella Country Club, all finishing at 130 (-14).
