RIVERSIDE, CA – In typical SCPGA fashion, this ClubsForeYouth® presentation aimed to make the experience extra special for the recipients. The SCPGA and Canyon Crest staff came together in a big way to support this wonderful initiative. Eddie Rodarte, SCPGA Junior Golf Manager put on an instructional clinic with all the recipients from both Arroyo Valley and John W. North High Schools.
In total, 12 sets of Wilson golf clubs were donated, 10 boys sets and two girls sets.
Caleb Kisling, a junior at Arroyo Valley High Schoo, has been playing golf for three years and has never owned his own set of golf clubs, usually borrowing them from the school or a family member. This is the story for a lot of these student athletes which is why through the help of Wilson, Friends of Golf and the Johnny Miller Champion Foundation, ClubsForeYouth® aims to put at many clubs in the hands of high school golf teams in need.
Because of ClubsForeYouth®, these students now know the many opportunities available to them like PGA Jr. League, clinics and more!
