RIVERSIDE, California– The SCPGA Professional-Junior Championship visited Victoria Club for an exhilarating day on the golf course with a full-field of 54 teams in four-ball format with each team consisting of a Professional accompanied by a Junior under the age of 18.
The Girls Division Champions were Raj Samra and Vanessa Wang posting a round of 7-under par 65 to win by two strokes. In second place in the Girls Division with a round of 67 (-5) were Eric Evans, PGA and Tiffany Le and in third place was John Wallace, PGA and Venecia Zaia carding a 4-under par 68.
The Boys Division had a bunched up leaderboard with three teams tied at 8-under par requiring an on course playoff to determine who took home the hardware. Teammates Chris Lempa, PGA and Ryan Plodkowski birdied the first playoff to be crowned the Boys Division Champions edging out Ross Fisher, PGA & Ryan Fisher and Andrew Kramer & William Mouw.
Big thank you to Titleist for supporting the event and the nice giveaways. In addition to the tee gifts and the top three divisional winners receiving swag, the Champions will have the opportunity to tour the Titleist production facility.
