Todd Keefer elected President of Southern California PGA
ONTARIO, CALIF. – Todd Keefer, PGA General Manager/COO for Wilshire Country Club, took the seat of President for the Southern California PGA at their Annual Meeting at Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego this week. Keefer will serve as president for two years and serve as President and Chairman of the Board and join his fellow officers, Vice President Tony Letendre, from the Professional Golfers Career College, and Secretary Robin Shelton from SeaCliff Country Club. Immediate Past President John McNair, of JC Resorts, will serve on the Board as Honorary President. Southern California PGA Board members include Eric Lohman, Scott Heyn, Rob Oosterhuis, Randy Chang, Derek Hardy, Joe Grohman, Independent Directors Susan Roll and Alison Curdt, and Chapter Representatives Mike van der Goes, Mark Wilson, Michael Holyk, Steve Adamiak and Bill Goree.
Todd Keefer commented, “Our section will continue to support the participation of all children in the game of golf through their formative years and into their adult lives. We believe we can grow the game and business by extoling the value of family participation and by marketing the value of the game and sport throughout California and the West. Our Southern California PGA programs for PGA professionals are outstanding and we continue to develop these programs and new ones to engage our professionals and ensure they are prepared to meet the demands of our business and profession.”
