SAN DIEGO COUNTY – In another ClubsForeYouth donation ceremony, 15 members of the girls golf team at Oceanside High School readily accepted their new sets of golf clubs. In attendance was PGA Member Holly Kennedy, who operates Emerald Isle Golf Course, and will be supporting their girls along their jounrey. These lucky students will be receiving support form Emerald Isle Golf Course, and Kennedy told us, “This program is such a gift to these girls and I look forward to watching their progress with their journey into the game. It’s amazing to see the support of all the foundations and organizations backing this program, and I cant thank them enough!”
Oceanside High School Head Coach Don Emerick, PGA said, “I am so excited to see the happiness in these girls eyes after receiving these clubs, it will have a significant impact in these girls lives going forward. I am so great full to the SCPGA and all the partners backing this program. I am very pleased to see this initiative expanding so rapidly across Southern California, and know that it is already impacting the lives of many students in the region.”
