Kenny Pigman, PGA of Goose Creek Golf Club found his way around TPC Valencia in an impressive 66 strokes in the second round of the Southern California PGA Professional Championship giving Pigman a five stroke lead going into tomorrow’s final round. Pigman, who followed round one’s 70 with today’s 66, is now 8-under par for the Championship and pulling away from the field with a five stoke lead.
Pigman caught fire on the back nine finishing strong birding six of his seven final holes to post a 30 on his closing nine distancing himself from the chasing field.
Andrew Larkin, PGA consistent play with rounds of 71-70 finds himself standing alone in second place with a two day total of 141.
Through 36-holes only four players find themselves under par thru 36-holes. 64 players made the cut going into tomorrow’s final round with the first tee time beginning at 7:00am.
