The Southern California PGA Neighborhood Golf program has had a very busy month of May thus far. We’ve traveled all over Southern California growing the game of golf to sports enthusiasts of all ages. Neighborhood Golf began their busy weekend on Thursday, May 8th in San Bernardino, CA for the Inland Regional Center’s Health Expo. Hundreds of employees took part in the 3-hour health fair featuring several different vendors highlighting the importance of leading an active and healthy lifestyle each and every day. A special thanks to San Bernardino Golf Club for partnering with us and providing each employee of the Inland Regional Center with FREE practice balls throughout the month of May. Don’t miss out on this exclusive opportunity! Play Golf Today!
Neighborhood Golf and Empire Lakes GC hosted another Play Golf America Day event on Friday, May 9th from 3:00pm until 6:00pm. A great crowd was on hand to receive FREE 30-minute golf lessons, participate in a Putting Contest, practice their short with game our Birdieball inflatable hitting target, and had the privilege of receiving giveaways and information from the several participating vendors.
The busy weekend concluded on Saturday, May 10th in Alhambra, California, as Neighborhood Golf partnered with the Alhambra Golf Course to host a Mother-Daughter Golf Clinic for the Girls Scouts of Los Angeles. A total of 60 Girls Scouts and Mothers took part in the three-hour clinic featuring 35 minute full swing, short game, and putting lessons. It was great to see such a tremendous turn out for this year’s event and we hope to see all of them out at the golf course soon.
Next up, the SCPGA Neighborhood Golf program will be attending the Auto Show IE on Saturday, May 17th and the Escondido Street Fair on Sunday, May 18th. We hope to see you there and remember to Play Golf Today!
