Max served as Head Golf Professional at Mesa Verde Country Club until 1979 and served on the Southern California PGA Board of Directors for 14 years and was instrumental in the establishment of the SCPGA Sr. Association. He also served as President of the U.S. National Senior’s Golf Association as well as served on the original Board of the Senior PGA Tour. He also played the PGA Tour in 1960 and the Asian Tour in 1961. Max served in the Military until 1946 and was the golf professional for the Love Boat and the golf professional for the People-to-People Tour in seven countries. He also built the first par three course and driving range complex in Orange County in 1950. Mr. Bayha passed away in June 2002 and was 80 years of age.
